Supply chain management is the planning and coordination of all of the people, processes and technology involved in creating value for our company. Managing our supply chain effectively involves coordinating all of the work inside our company with what is happening outside our company. In other words, it means looking at our business as a single link in an end-to-end chain that supplies our products to a customer or a consumer.
