Sales Coordinator

To reinforce our Sales team we are looking for a Sales Coordinator.

Job purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our Ontex Consumer Products team. The Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales department in achieving its objectives, enhancing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position offers an opportunity to work with the largest retailers in the US and contribute to the success of their brands.

 

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts, including order processing, inventory management, and order tracking.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
  • Sales Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, such as marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure the smooth execution of sales plans and promotions.
  • Documentation: Prepare sales reports, presentations, and other documentation required to support the sales team in customer meetings and presentations.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to provide recommendations for enhancing product positioning and market share.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining sales records.
  • Sales Strategy Support: Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies and initiatives, working closely with the sales team and sales manager.
  • Forecasting: Contribute to sales forecasting efforts to ensure accurate stock levels and demand planning.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of sales-related events and trade shows.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field 
  • Logistics or planning experience preferred
  • Prior experience with ERP applications is a plus.
  • Can-do attitude and strong desire to learn is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to use Word and Excel is required.
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus
