Lead and develop site supply chain new product and planning team effectively within the production plant environment with capacity restrictions of personnel and machine output and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and counterparts to assure best results

Long Description
What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?
Provide leadership and direction to supply chain planning teams
Optimize Production Planning, oversee MPS, MRP, and detailed shop floor scheduling while balancing cost efficiency with stock level management.
Oversee effective usage of production capacity within the operational boundaries agreed with Manufacturing.
Lead RCCP process at plant side and work efficiently with central planners to identify and resolve capacity shortages.
Actively communicate to the plant manager and the management team
Provide real-time information on scheduling and product availability during the complete product life cycle for all customers.
Be responsible for procurement department, i.e. all activities related to obtaining products and materials from outside suppliers following the Supplier agreements & prices negotiated by the Central Purchasing. This includes the order placement, inbound transportation, storage, handling, quality assurance. Coordinate with suppliers on scheduling and supply continuity.
Outsource packing activities to increase focus on activities in the value chain with a distinctive advantage.
Measure performance and define actions to continuously improve the KPI’s.
Continuously monitor performance versus budget
Lead initiatives to reduce cost, improve leadtimes, and enhance service levels, including the implementation of consignment stock practices.
Play a key role in developing a proactive supply chain organization and deploying best-in-class tools, processes and structures
Drive continuous improvement by developing and deploying comprehensive training programs that elevate team performance and skill levels.
Background and Experience
What do I need to be succesful in this job?
Master Degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering or economics, minimum 5 years of experience in a management function in supply chain, preferably in a production environment in FMCG
Hands-on experience in at least 2 different areas of supply chain management
Excellent computer skills, and key user knowledge of SAP R/3 system is recommended (MM module a must, others nice to have).
Excellent planning and prioritization skills, ability to work independently
Results-oriented and customer minded, able to identify and implement meaningful continuous improvement opportunities
Flexible, efficient & stress resistant.
Good communication skills internally as well as externally with upper and lower levels of organization, ability to establish effective working relationships
Fluent knowledge of English is a must, Dutch language is also mandatory.
