ESG Reporting Specialist

To reinforce our Sustainability team we are looking for a ESG Reporting Specialist.

The ESG Reporting Specialist will oversee and drive the organization’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting efforts. This includes preparing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) report, completing investor ESG questionnaires, and conducting ESG risk assessments. The role involves working closely with the Sustainability Department and the ESG Controller in the finance team to establish automated reporting processes and ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • CSRD Reporting: Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of the annual CSRD report.
  • Investor ESG Questionnaires: Manage and respond to ESG questionnaires from investors and rating agencies.
  • ESG Risk Assessments: Conduct regular ESG risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Automated ESG Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to design and set up automated ESG reporting systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for ESG-related reporting inquiries.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on evolving ESG reporting requirements and recommend process improvements.

Key Tasks:

  • Develop and manage timelines for ESG disclosures.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze ESG data.
  • Prepare written narratives for reports and questionnaires.
  • Develop templates and tools for ESG data reporting.
  • Conduct reviews and audits of ESG data.
  • Monitor ESG risk factors and prepare assessment reports.
  • Participate in training and workshops on ESG reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG reporting or sustainability roles.
  • Deep understanding of ESG reporting frameworks (CSRD, GRI, TCFD, SASB).
  • Experience with ESG risk assessment methodologies and investor questionnaires.
  • Familiarity with ESG or financial auditing processes.
  • Prior experience with automated reporting systems.
