As we continue being 'Here for you’, we’re looking for a Supply chain Planning Manager & BPO Raw Materials to join our Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics team.
The Group Raw Material Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring the long-term availability of raw materials across Ontex's European manufacturing network, safeguarding production continuity and strengthening supply chain resilience. The role acts as a key link between Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Suppliers, transforming demand forecasts into sustainable supply strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Raw Material Planning
- Lead long-term raw material planning across European manufacturing sites.
- Translate demand forecasts into raw material requirements plans.
- Manage monthly Raw Material RCCP reviews and align requirements with supplier capacity.
- Ensure high forecast accuracy and data reliability.
Supply Resilience & Business Continuity
- Lead supply chain responses during raw material shortages and crisis situations.
- Coordinate material allocation across multiple factories.
- Develop contingency plans, alternative sourcing strategies, and risk mitigation actions.
- Prevent production disruptions and minimize customer impact.
Supplier Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead planning activities within strategic supplier collaboration programs.
- Build strong partnerships with Procurement and suppliers.
- Support decision-making through clear business insights and recommendations.
- Influence stakeholders across the organization to align priorities and objectives.
Inventory Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Establish a standardized methodology for inventory target setting.
- Benchmark inventory performance across plants and optimize working capital.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and project implementation.
- Promote planning standardization across manufacturing sites.
Systems & Process Ownership
- Act as a key user and expert for SAP and Arkieva planning systems.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and process compliance.
- Support capability development and knowledge sharing within the planning community.
Key Success Measures

- Inventory optimization and working capital improvement.
- Business continuity and avoidance of production disruptions.
- Long-term forecast accuracy.

- Cost optimization through effective supplier capacity and inventory management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP and planning systems (SAP, Arkieva).
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data visualization capabilities.
- Strategic thinking and risk anticipation.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Change management and continuous improvement mindset.

Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply planning or related supply chain functions.
- Experience in international manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- B2/C1 English level
Considered a plus
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a strong advantage.
- Experience in international manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Ability to work effectively in matrix and cross-functional organizations.
