AMU Manager - Baby Diapers

As we continue being 'Here for you’, we’re looking for a AMU Manager - Baby Diapers to join our Production & manufacturing team.
 

Why does this job exist at Ontex?
Drive the AMU team and coordinate interaction with the Support Functions to deliver the Manufacturing KPIs

- Lead and coach the AMU team to deliver the KPIs
- Drive elimination of losses/waste

 

How big is the job?
Responsible for the whole resources and production lines of 1 AMU

 

What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?
- Strive for 0 accident
- Drive shop floor transformation
- Coach AMU team in new mindset and behaviors
- Manage the technical means and the resources to deliver the KPIs
- Deliver specific business objectives on OEE improvements, multi-skilling, flexible manning, … where change management is required
- Produce scorecards and dashboards on a selection of relevant KPIs
- Identify opportunities and create solutions for elimination of losses/waste
- Exchange good practices with the other AMU Managers
- Continuously assess and improve the working processes inside the Manufacturing area as well as in the interaction with the Support Functions

Manufacturing Manager, peers, direct reports, all reports, Production Planner, Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, Reliability Engineer, Operation Quality Coordinator

To find the solution I need to think within broadly defined policies and objectives

 

What is the educational requirement for the job?
Bachelor (or equivalent by experience)

What prior experience is required for the job?
5 – 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

 

Which technical skills do I need to master?
Specific job skills
   Knowledge of lean principles (i.e. waste identification, OEE and limit analysis, SMED)
   Understands how to drive performance improvement across working groups to achieve high performance
